Financial Administrator


Working closely with the Executive Director, the Financial Administrator oversees the financial health of our agency by administering sound accounting operations to meet legal requirements. You must have a solid understanding of audits, invoices and budget preparations. Our ideal candidate demonstrates interest and strong competency in managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. You should also have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks such as government financial reporting. Community Connections Coordinator


Reporting to the Program Manager, the Community Connections Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of the Community Connections and SWIS programs at Immigrant Services Guelph-Wellington. The position involves conducting community outreach, coordinating program staff and reporting/managing program outcomes to ensure contractual obligations of the program. The Community Connections Coordinator will need to have a flexible schedule to attend evening and/or weekend meetings and events as required. Volunteer Mobilizer **CLOSED**


The Volunteer Mobilizer is responsible for fostering partnerships between newcomers/immigrants and established members of the Guelph- Wellington community.  They will work closely with the Executive Director to promote the agency’s mandate in the community and develop a reliable pool of volunteers for various activities. They must have strong communication and intercultural skills. The Volunteer Mobilizer will also connect newcomer clients with community agencies in order to help build connections and experience for newcomers. This is a one year contract position for 35 hours per week-week commencing asap. The Community Outreach Worker uses their community development skills and passion to connect newcomers to Immigrant Services and other networks within Guelph Wellington by supporting co-located services and active neighbourhood outreach.
