The Advisory Committee

Project Wisdom is guided by two complementary advisory committees: The Wisdom Committee and the Advisory Committee.

The Advisory Committee includes representatives from 5 local agencies that provide service to seniors and immigrants. Representatives of each agency bring with them their own personal and professional expertise, resources, and networks to support the project and ensure that it is responsive to the needs of service providers and addresses identified gaps in knowledge and resources.

  • Immigrant Services Guelph-Wellington
  • Trellis Mental Health and Developmental Services
  • County of Wellington Settlement Services
  • Women in Crisis Guelph-Wellington
  • Guelph Police Service

Core responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the design and delivery of the program according to the contribution agreement
  • Reviewing, monitoring and providing feedback on continued development and implementation of the project’s deliverables
  • Advising  on the content and components of project outputs including training sessions, resource handbook, and community awareness-raising materials
