Intercultural Training and Consultation
Our innovative and exciting inter-cultural training and consultation program is fittingly called Harmonizing Diversity. We help you to take the steps required to promote harmonious interactions between people of various cultures in your organization, workplace, or community.
Step one: We Initially assess your objectives.
Step two: We tailor our workshops to fit your needs.
The training regimen will be based on the needs of your participants. We offer a 2-hour session that allows for minimum participation. The training can also be done in a day-long session if more discussion and participation is needed.
The training is delivered through a mixture of presentations, introspective exercises, and group discussions. It allows participants with different personalities and preferred modes of learning to feel comfortable. We practice respect for diversity in learning and communication styles.
Topics may include but are not limited to:
- Understanding and discussing culture
- Defining diversity and what it looks like
- Common reactions towards differences
- Learning to react and respond in ways that help you to benefit from diversity
- How to build and maintain relationships so that you can work together
The workshop is playful, interactive, and fun-if the participants want it to be. We can tailor it to be less interactive and more lecture-oriented. We adamantly believe that tailoring the workshop to the needs of the participants is the key to achieving expected outcomes.
It is important to emphasize that we do not take an "Anti-" approach. We feel that moving in harmony towards a goal is more productive and less threatening.
The fee we charge supports the delivery of our services, including the new harmony-building training program. This is by no means a profit-building business venture. The fee will be scaled to suit your organization.
