Score High Program

What is Score High ?

Immigrant children and youth can benefit from a friendly environment and helpful volunteers who will tutor them in a structured after-school program. It might include helping them with their homework assignments on a one-on-one basis. It also includes motivating them to learn further through short assignments, brain teasers, or co-operative games.

Score High will motivate immigrant students to take responsibility for their academic progress and increase their enjoyment in attending school.

Parents can also benefit from some of our settlement services while their children are here.

Call Maryam at 519-836-2222, ext. 233 or email to register as a participant.

What topics are covered?

We do our best to cover most needed topics such as math, English, and science, with the help of skillful and dedicated volunteers. Students will be able to take advantage of this program once a week for varying amounts of time.

Who is eligible?

Our after-school tutoring program is offered to immigrant children and youth aged 7-18 who are attending schools in Guelph and Wellington County.
