The Volunteer Mobilizer will build relations with public institutions and private sector businesses with the goal of assisting newcomers to settle and integrate into Canada while building a welcoming, inclusive, and diverse community. The Volunteer Mobilizer will be responsible for development of the volunteer program to support the needs of the agency and clients. The Volunteer Mobilizer's responsibilities include recruiting and training new volunteers, keeping a database of volunteer information and skills, matching volunteers to opportunities that suit their skills, keeping volunteers informed, and conveying the organization's purpose to the public.
This position will report to the Program Manager – Community Connections, HR and Operations. This is a part time permanent position at 20 hours/week. Travel and some necessary evening hours of work, may be required.
