Seniors' Activity Group

The IS-GW Seniors' Activity Group offers programming for adults aged 55 and older.

seniors walking on trailThis group meets weekly from September-June, and provides opportunities for exercise, English language learning and community building. Each week, participants take part in low-impact aerobic exercise and socialize over refreshments. Meetings include an English Conversation Circle to practice conversational English skills. The purpose of the Seniors’ Activity Group is to promote healthy and active living, reduce feelings of isolation and to create opportunities for participants to meet new people and engage with the Guelph community. Participants can access settlement-related advocacy and referrals to other services through this group. This is a free group; registration is not required.

This group is replaced in the summer months by a senior-friendly walking group. Explore Guelph’s parks and trails from 10:00 am -12:00 am every Thursday morning. Location varies week to week; CLICK HERE for details.

Thursdays, 9:30am to 12:00pm
